The lawyers at Zebersky & Payne helped obtain a $1.2 million dollar verdict for the wife of a deceased smoker. Mr. Brown died in 1992 after smoking cigarettes for over 40 years. Although Mr. Brown was disabled and as such his wife was unable to make any type of economic damage claim the jury awarded Mrs. Brown substantial monies for her pain and suffering. This verdict is one of the first of its kind against the tobacco industry and was a great win for Mrs. Brown and the entire Brown family.
